Datuk Siti Hadzar Binti Mohd Ismail
Datuk Siti Hadzar is the Chairman of FIMM. She was previously the Deputy Secretary General (Policy) of the Ministry of Finance and is currently the advisor to the Deputy Chairman of Khazanah Nasional. She is also Chairman of Malaysian Technology Development Corporation. Datuk Siti Hadzar holds a Bachelor in Analytical Economics from University of Malaya and Masters in Development Economics from Williams College, USA.
Dato’ Mohamad Ayob Abu Hassan, Affin Hwang Asset Management Berhad
Dato’ Mohamad Ayob Abu Hassan is an Advisor of Affin Hwang Asset Management Berhad who has over 25 years’ experience in treasury management and investment banking (including corporate recovery and debt capital market), other than 11 years’ experience in unit trust and asset management. He is a Licensed Capital Market Services Representative and an elected Director and Committee Member of Federation of Investment Managers Malaysia since 2010.
Dato’ Ayob assists the Company in developing business opportunities with key clients especially GLCs, GLICs and public sectors. He also provides support and advice to the all Sales Team as and when required in facilitating the establishment of mutually beneficial working relationship with investment companies. He is responsible to build and maintain a range of relationships and networks with regulatory authorities and key external bodies such as Bank Negara, Securities Commission Malaysia, Bursa Malaysia and industry associates.

En. Mohammad Bin Hussin, Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad
Mr. Mohammad bin Hussin is the Chief Executive Officer & Executive Director of ASNB / Senior Vice President, Unit Trust of PNB. He has served in various capacities in several organisations including Edaran Otomobil Nasional Berhad, and UMW Toyota Motor Sdn Bhd. En. Mohammad holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from University of Portland, USA and Master of Business Administration from Cranfield University, UK. En. Mohammad is also a member of the Malaysian Financial Planning Council (MFPC).
Ms. Yeoh Kim Hong, Public Mutual Berhad
Ms. Yeoh Kim Hong is a qualified accountant and certified financial planner with more than 19 years of experience in the unit trust industry. She is currently the Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors of Public Mutual Berhad.
Mr. Ismitz Matthew De Alwis, Kenanga Investors Berhad
Mr Ismitz Matthew De Alwis is the Chief Executive Officer for Kenanga Investors Berhad. His 23 years of vast experience includes exposures in Hong Kong, Philippines, Dubai and Singapore. He has attended the Advanced Business Management Program by International Institute for Management Development, Lausanne, Switzerland and holds a MBA and a Bachelor Degree (Honours) in Business Administration as well as two other professional qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Marketing UK, and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). Mr De Alwis is also currently on the Board of Governors of Financial Planning Association of Malaysia.
Mr. Wong Teck Meng, Areca Capital Sdn. Bhd.
Mr. Wong Teck Meng is the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of Areca Capital Sdn Bhd. He is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) (UK) and member of Financial Planning Association of Malaysia. He is a Certified Financial Planner charter holder.

Ms. Koid Swee Lian
Ms. Koid Swee Lian is the Advisor for Financial Planning Association of Malaysia’s (FPAM) Consumer Financial Education Initiatives. She read law at the University of Malaya, after when, she served in various capacities at Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) for 32 ½ years until her retirement, including as Board member and Chief Executive Officer of the BNM’s Credit Counselling and Debt Management Agency (AKPK). During her tenure at BNM, she had extensive exposure to the finance sector as a bank supervisor and insurance regulator. She also drafted principal and subsidiary legislations under the purview of the Bank. Madam Koid was instrumental in formulating and getting the AMLA through the Parliament. As the first director of the Financial Intelligence Unit when it was set up by the Bank in 2001, she was actively involved in the implementation and enforcement of the AMLA. As inaugural Secretary to the National Coordinating Committee to Counter Money Laundering (NCC), Koid brought together ministries and agencies for the effective implementation of the national AML and ATF regime that is in keeping with international standards.
She was also a member of an international team of experts from the Financial Action Task Force and Asia Pacific Group on Anti-Money Laundering that conducted a joint mutual evaluation of the USA’s anti-money laundering regime in 2005. She had collaborated with various national and international organisations such as the World Bank, IMF, OECD, Consultative Group to Assist the Poor, and Alliance for Financial Inclusion. These organisations had engaged Koid to speak at various forums on AML/ATF, and financial consumer protection and financial education.
Tuan Muniandy Kannyappan JMN
Tuan Muniandy was formerly of the Judicial and Legal Service where he had served in various capacities, as Federal Counsel, Magistrate, Deputy Public Prosecutor, Chairman of the Industrial Court, Director for the Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) Examination at the Legal Profession Qualifying Board and Head of Research Division of the Attorney General’s Chambers (AGC). During his term as a Deputy Public Prosecutor, he was involved in the prosecutions of securities offences investigated by the Securities Commission and financial offences investigated by Bank Negara Malaysia. He also has broad experience in dealing with issues on international criminal law including anti money laundering, transnational organised crime, mutual legal assistance and extradition, and has represented Malaysia at various forums concerning these issues.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Law from the University of Malaya in 1984 and later obtained a Master of Laws in 2013. He now lectures criminal justice and advocacy part time at the National University of Malaysia (UKM) and Multimedia University (MMU). He also serves as a professional trainer on matters pertaining to criminal trial advocacy at the Securities Commission.
Nik Mohd Hasyudeen Yusoff
Nik Mohd Hasyudeen Yusoff is the founder of Inovastra Capital Sdn. Bhd, a company providing advisory services in leadership, governance and strategy.
He is an Independent Non-Executive Director of Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad, an Independent Non-Executive Director of Cagamas Berhad, a Fellow at Putra Business School and a member of the Corporate Debt Restructuring Committee set up by Bank Negara Malaysia.
Nik was the Executive Director in charge of Market and Corporate Supervision at the Securities Commission Malaysia and the former Executive Chairman of the Audit Oversight Board. Nik was also member of Bursa Malaysia Listing Committee and served on the Operational Review Panel of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission.
As a FCPA of CPA Australia, Nik was very involved with the accountancy profession in Malaysia and the region. He was a former President of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, former Vice-President of the ASEAN Federation of Accountants and served on the Executive and Strategy committees of the Confederation of Asian and Pacific Accountants. He was also the chairman of the Committee to Strengthen the Accountancy Profession which recommended measures to reform the Malaysian accountancy profession.
Dato’ Mohd Sallehuddin Othman
Dato’ Mohd Sallehuddin Othman (DMSO) holds professional accounting qualifications in Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants (ACCA) and Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), United Kingdom. He also graduated with a Master’s Degree in City University, London in 1975. He is registered as a Chartered Accountant with Malaysia Institute of Accountants in 1981 and became a Fellow member of ACCA in 1983.
DMSO began his career with brief stints in various audit firms in Malaysia and United Kingdom, a Malaysian statutory body, and a major Government linked company in Malaysia before joining Asian Development Bank based in Manila, Philippines from 1981 to 1986.
Upon return to Malaysia in 1986, DMSO joined Permodalan Nasional Berhad in senior positions doing corporate services and human resource until 1994. From mid 1994 to 2000, DMSO was with UMW Holdings Berhad initially as Executive Director and subsequently as Group Managing Director. From 2001 until his retirement in 2006, DMSO served as Group Managing Director of Malaysian Industrial Finance Berhad.
Post retirement, DMSO has served as an independent non-executive director of a few companies including a foreign Islamic bank, and non-executive Chairman of Cradle Fund Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary under Ministry of Finance Incorporated. Currently, DMSO is an independent director of a number of companies, notably MSIG Insurance (M) Berhad, Axa Affin Life Insurance Berhad, and Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ (M) Berhad. He was appointed as a Public Interest Director in Federation of Investment Managers Malaysia, a Self-Regulatory Organisation in April 2016.
Ms. Che Zakiah Binti Che Din
Che Zakiah Binti Che Din was appointed as Public Interest Director of FIMM on 27 November 2017. She is also the Chairman of the Nomination & Remuneration and Procurement Committees. In addition, she serves as a member of the Audit & Risk and Appeal Committees.
Prior to her current appointment, Che Zakiah was the Director of Financial Conglomerates Supervision Department in Bank Negara Malaysia. Her long-serving distinguished career of more than 30 years at the Central Bank included postings in different departments, such as financial conglomerates supervision, development financial institutions regulation, bank regulations and supervision, as well as economics.
Her other notable appointments at the Central Bank included as Team Leader for the establishment of Corporate Debts Restructuring Committee, one of the three agencies set up by Bank Negara Malaysia to address the 1997 Asian Financial Crisis; she was also Team Leader (2000 to 2001) for the consolidation undertaking of 57 domestic banks and finance companies in Malaysia into 10 domestic banking groups, as well as Team Leader for the establishment of the Malaysia Cooperative Commission in 2003.
Che Zakiah also served as a member of the Board Audit Committee of International Islamic Liquidity Malaysia (2007 to 2017), Investment Panel of Malaysia Pension Fund (2005 to 2016) and Audit Oversight Board (2016 to 2017). Che Zakiah holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics (Hons) from University of Malaya.
En. Mohd Ridzal Bin Mohd Sheriff
Mohd Ridzal Bin Mohd Sheriff was appointed as Public Interest Director of FIMM on 27 November 2017. He also serves as a member of the Industry Development, Regulatory and Disciplinary Committees and Private Retirement Scheme Sub-Committee.
Mohd Ridzal is currently a Director of Franklin Templeton Asset Management (M) Sdn Bhd and an Independent Consultant of Esperanza Risk Advisory Sdn Bhd.
His previous directorships included serving as Chairman of Deutsche Trustees Malaysia Bhd, Deputy Chairman of SME Corp Malaysia, as well as Director of Deutsche Corporate Advisory Malaysia, Malaysian Derivatives Clearing House Bhd and Kuala Lumpur Options & Financial Futures Exchange Bhd.
With over 20 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking as well as securities and derivatives trading, Mohd Ridzal has held numerous high-ranking posts. He was the Deputy Secretary General of the Malaysian Ministry of International Trade & Industry from 2012 to 2015. Part of his role was to infuse private sector culture into the civil service, whilst cultivating, building and maintaining trade ties on a bilateral and multilateral basis for ASEAN, APEC, OIC and country to country trade relations.
His earlier notable career portfolios included a six-year career at Deutsche Bank Malaysia Bhd, serving as Head of Global Transaction Banking Malaysia, Head of Direct Securities Services Malaysia and Director of Corporate Investment Banking where he successfully built a very strong domestic franchise in transaction banking.
Mohd Ridzal also served in Bursa Malaysia holding various senior management positions as well as CEO of the former Malaysian Derivatives Clearing House Bhd prior to its acquisition by Bursa Malaysia.
Aside from a distinguished professional career, Mohd Ridzal plays an important role in his contribution to charitable causes, serving as Chairman of the Advisory Board of Charity Right Malaysia, as well as being an active volunteer for Mercy Mission Malaysia and its Seven Skies International School.
Mohd Ridzal holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree from University of London, and is a licenced stock and derivatives trader.
